Matheus Bidu scored a bizarre own goal this Sunday (11).

To make matters worse for him, the Corinthians full-back's blunder came in a derby against Palmeiras at Nubank Parque.

Piquerez had the ball on the left wing and crossed it into an area of the box where there were only Corinthians players.

Bidu got his wires crossed with Raniele and headed into his own net, looping the ball over goalkeeper Hugo Souza.

The goal was Palmeiras' third in the derby. The hosts had already gone into halftime leading 2–0.
