Anthony Gordon may not have scored his first goal for Barcelona yet, but his latest international performances suggest it could only be a matter of time.

That is a major reason for optimism at Barcelona. Gordon has already shown he can make an impact without finding the net himself, registering four assists since joining the Blaugrana , while his numbers across club and international football point towards the most productive start of his career.

He has never produced those numbers so early in a campaign. In fact, his closest previous start came in 2023/24, when he managed two goals and two assists in his opening ten games.
