FC Barcelona continue to secure the futures of the young talent coming through the ranks at La Masia , with the next player set to renew his contract being Pedro Rodriguez.

Indeed, according to journalist Nil Sola , the Catalan giants are set to renew the teenage midfielder for four years until 2030.

Pedro joined Barcelona in 2019 from Granada at just 11 years old. Since then, he has progressed steadily through the club’s academy and established himself as one of the standout players of his generation.

The midfielder has stepped up to Barça Atletic this season but was due to see his current contract with the club expire in June 2027.

As such, Barça have moved to finalise an extension for the 18-year-old La Masia prospect by four more years until the summer of 2030.

Pedro is a midfielder capable of playing as either a No. 6 or No. 8. He possesses excellent technical qualities, with his ball-retention and ability to play line-breaking passes particularly seen as major assets.

While he particularly suited to the holding midfield role, the teenager also possesses the ability to make forward runs and contribute goals when playing further up the pitch.
