On their official website , Sunderland have offered an update on the future of Enzo Le Fee. It has been revealed that the French talent has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Black Cats that will keep him at the Stadium of Light until the summer of 2031.

Le Fee has made a promising start to this Premier League campaign as he has produced a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old has has found the back of the net twice and picked up one assist in six matches for the Black Cats this season in various competitions.

The French talent is currently one of the most talented playmakers in his homeland. Hence, Sunderland have done well to secure his long-term future in this international break.

When fit, Le Fee was one of the first names in Regis Le Bris’ teamsheet in the previous campaign and has continued to perform at a high level for the Black Cats this season.

Le Fee can shoot the ball with power from long range and has the vision to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates to find the back of the net. He is a good dribbler with the ball and can make some clever runs with it in and around the opponent’s penalty area.

The French sensation can even contribute by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team. Le Fee is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as an attacking midfielder or as a left-winger if asked to do so by his manager. He is currently a regular starter in Le Bris’ first team.

Hence, securing Le Fee’s long-term future will be a good move for both the player and the Wearside club. The French talent can now solely focus on the remainder of this Premier League campaign with Sunderland.
