Roma will continue to strengthen in January. Gian Piero Gasperini, even in the last transfer window, was left without a striker capable of sprinting and raising the team’s level.

A promised addition, a commitment that this time must be kept to avoid undermining the great work done on the pitch. All eyes remain on Real Madrid’s Endrick.

Aside from the likes of Leweling and Gittens, players Roma worked on to bring to Trigoria this summer but who are not finding space in their respective squads, the hottest prospect is the Blancos striker.

Roma has a small fortune to invest in the January transfer window. The idea is to strengthen themselves, Malen-style, by completing a loan deal with an option to buy in June. This is why the 2006-born player remains at the forefront. Real Madrid can sell the Brazilian but would prefer to protect themselves, given that they invested around €60 million in him.

Sporting director D’Amico has long been in talks with the Roc Nation team and doesn’t seem alarmed by AC Milan’s attempt to sign him.

According to Corriere dello Sport , Endrick has already spoken to Ancelotti, the Brazil coach, to whom he allegedly confided that he has a verbal agreement with Gian Piero Gasperini. Mourinho vetoed the move in the summer, but he’s unlikely to impose his will on the 2006-born player in January.

From a tactical formation and squad depth perspective, "Confirmed: Roma reopen talks with Endrick’s entourage" carries substantial tournament implications for international seeding and domestic campaign momentum.
