Indeed, manager Hansi Flick and director Deco are very satisfied with the make-up of the squad.

As such, barring a serious injury, a departure or an entirely unexpected situation, the Blaugrana have no intention of entering the market in the winter transfer window.

“The work is already done,” is the message coming from the club offices regarding the possibility of strengthening the squad in January, following comments made by Olive.

The club economic VP warned that any incoming transfer would first require a departure because the positive Fair Play margin is below €4 million. That would not be enough to complete a significant signing without players leaving the club.
