Liverpool are keeping their options in the transfer market wide open this season.

Right-back has been a problem area for some time now at Anfield and, while Ronald Araujo is performing fairly well at the moment , it's still unclear whether his €55 million option to buy will be activated or not.

At the moment, if you asked any Liverpool fan whether they'd want the Uruguayan to become a permanent member of Andoni Iraola's squad, they'd probably say yes.

He's been a brick wall for the Anfield outfit this term and without him, they'd be much worse off.

But, for now at least, Liverpool aren't fully convinced by the 27-year-old which is why other right-backs are now being discussed as potential options.

Many different players have been shared as transfers for Liverpool to explore and, while some of them are rather exciting, there are also some rather interesting shouts that have started to emerge.

If Araujo isn't signed permanently , Liverpool will almost certainly need a new right-back so, the fact that they've now been told how much their top target for that position will cost is rather reassuring.
