Nizaar Kinsella reported for the BBC this week that Bournemouth are now open to selling Alex Scott in January, after previously insisting he was not for sale.

The change in stance has reportedly come about after a final round of talks with the player’s representatives, and senior sources now say Bournemouth are willing to sell for an offer of about £100m.

Kinsella adds that Bournemouth may still refuse to sell if they still look to be in danger of relegation in January.

The report suggests every member of the Premier League’s ‘big six’ have shown an interest in Scott, but Manchester City , Manchester United , and Spurs have since moved on to other targets.
