Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in signing Mexico international Gilberto Mora.

According to Spanish outlet AS , the two La Liga giants are monitoring Mora’s development at Tijuana.

The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of the world’s brightest midfield talents.

He recently scored his first goal for the Mexican national team, helping them secure a 1-1 draw with Colombia.

Mora also impressed at thje 2026 World Cup , where El Tri lost to England in the last-16.

The youngster started three of Mexico’s five games at the tournament. He has earned 13 caps for the national side.

Mora was Tijuana’s youngest-ever debutant, aged 15, in 2024. He became the youngest goal scorer in Liga MX when he struck his first against Leon.

The teenager has made 62 appearances across all competitions for the Mexican club, bagging 15 goals and three assists.
