Liverpool spent a lot of money trying to upgrade their first-team squad in the summer.

Bradley Barcola was obviously their marquee signing of the window and, since he's only been a Liverpool play for a few games now, he's still not managed to find his feet.

Zinedine Zidane called the former Paris Saint-Germain ace up to his France squad and, while he was chosen to start against Belgium, he didn't manage to meet expectations.

However, with Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak both ruled out due to injury , it certainly feels like Andoni Iraola is going to have to play some of his lesser-used attackers.

Obviously, Barcola will probably be guaranteed a place in Liverpool's starting XI but, for one attacker, this could be his best chance ever at cementing his place in the Reds' starting XI.

Victor Munoz was the first transfer that Liverpool made in the summer.

Iraola was one of the main driving forces behind the deal and, without him asking Fenway Sports Group and Richard Hughes to sign him, the Spaniard would have probably become a Newcastle player instead.

Obviously, this would have left Liverpool even weaker in attack so, the 23-year-old being brought in by Liverpool may have helped save their season.
