Pau Cubarsi has offered a glimpse into the personality behind one of Barcelona’s most established young defenders, revealing which Spain teammate brings out his playful side and explaining what he ultimately wants to achieve at club level.

Despite his rapid rise with Barcelona and Spain , Cubarsi insists that football remains something he uses to enjoy himself and switch off from the pressure surrounding his career.

When asked about life inside the Spain camp, Cubarsi picked out a familiar face from Barcelona.

“The one I laugh with the most is Eric Garcia, and the one who gets on my nerves the most is Marc Cucurella because he’s very intense,” he said (h/t Barça Buzz ).

“However, I don’t hold a grudge against anyone. I’m a quiet guy who just enjoys himself.”
