Corinthians planned to announce Fernando Diniz's replacement before this Sunday's derby (11). The club just wasn't expecting so many NOs.

Timão approached Ramón Díaz, Emiliano Díaz, Luis Zubeldía, Sylvinho and Mascherano. It was one "no" after another. As a result, the club still has no head coach.

With that, Corinthians will face Palmeiras with William Batista as interim coach.

The under-20 coach will try to keep the club from slipping into the relegation zone.

Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. this Sunday (11) at Allianz Parque, in the 30th round of fixtures.
